Edmund Bell’s selection of Flame Retardant Cotton Sateen Linings are manufactured to the same high standards as our domestic curtain linings and are all finished in the UK. Typically recommended for use with face fabrics that contain a high level of natural fibre, they are ideal for curtains in hotels, pubs, nursing homes and public buildings.

Inherently Flame Retardant Polyester*
Ideal for situations where the curtains need to be hard wearing or they will be subjected to very regular high temperature washing. Perfect for use as a curtain lining for polyester face fabrics such as Trevira CS. In addition they can also be used as a bedding fabric or as backing fabric for bedspreads and duvets.

Please note that we have wide width options available - ideally suited for quilted bed spread applications.

Blackout Flame Retardant Linings*
We’ve built an international reputation for our extensive range of Flame Retardant Blackout Linings by working closely with finishers around the world to manufacture the highest quality products.


We make many of our blackout linings in both single and double width fabrics to save you time and money. Our Odyssey range of coloured blackout fabrics double as coloured linings or as single layer face fabric. Whether you opt for the economy of a 2 Pass blackout or choose a 3 Pass for its ultra-luxurious appearance; if you need extra body or a supersoft handle you’ll find the perfect fabric in our collection.

Duoline Flame Retardant Bonded Interlinings*
Edmund Bell’s Duoline Bonded Interlinings are available in a choice of linings, each one created to add a luxurious drape effect to your curtains while speeding up your manufacturing process to save you time and money.  We also stock bonded wadding which can be used to dramatically improve the drape of heavy curtains or add body to more light weight fabrics.
